U.S. fisheries are, arguably, the most highly regulated in the world. Through rigorous scientific evaluations, fish stocks are intentionally managed to promote the resilience of wild populations. Cast away the former story that the waters off the central coast are overfished. By keeping local fish local you also eliminate nefarious labor practices that are often used overseas to bring the fish to market. This is a new era - so let’s eat!
